Dawn flew in from Michigan on Saturday and we managed to squeeze a sweet little two day trip in together down to a little town called Seward (about 3 hours south of Anchorage). It's an adorable little town right on the water. We ate fresh halibut, walked around the down town area, visited the local aquarium, and sight seed what could in the short days we spent there. The drive down was absolutely breath taking. On our way down we made two other stops; the first one was to Potter's Marsh (located just outside of Anchorage) where we walked along a viewing area where all the birds enjoy hanging out; then made a little stop about 35 miles south of Anchorage to check out Crow Creek Mine. The days went by too quickly and I'll have to say that we are already missing Na Na and she hasn't even left the state yet. I'll have to say that we are loving our new adventure but missing our families and friends dearly.
I have more photos that we've been collecting since we arrived, however, we have yet to find the camera cord, so as soon as that is discovered, I'll have more to share from previous month and 1/2. These are the photos taken from Dawn's camera. Enjoy!

Of course we had to all check out the sweet shop.
