NANA'S JUNE VISIT

Hello! Here we are in the month of June already! Things are going great here. Dawn was able to make a visit out to see us this month. I've incorporated photos below of our fun time together! Unfortunately I realized I haven't any of Jonah mostly because he had to work most days and we took photos during our tourist outings. It's getting pretty warm out here in So Cal, but luckily the house we're living in this time has AC!

Newest Ella news... our little one loves tutus. She has a blue one that she absolutely enjoys prancing around the house in. This excites me because I'm big into princesses and girly things. Can't you tell?? ;) However, I still can see Ella driving a hot pink dirt bike out with her dad in the future. Ella is talking all the time; the cutest was a few weeks ago when she was jumping on our bed while Jonah and I were still waking up in the morning and said "I'll be back" as she pranced out of the room. Her major interest besides tutus are: books, babies, stuff animals, Elmo, and Blues Clues.

Memorial Day Weekend

Ayo! Here's some fun photos of our weekend spent up in Idyllwild, CA. We stayed three nights in a cabin with some other friends of ours and hiked approximately 12 miles that weekend. It was lots of fun and the weather was perfect for our little trip. We hope to do it again soon!! :)

Our cute family.
Adorable photo even blurry.
On our way home from Idyllwild.
We packed lunches everyday and stopped along our hike.
Just what it looks like. ;)
So, it's pretty much very painful to carry an approx. 30 lb toddler on your back. :)
We had so much fun with you guys!
Look ahead BabyGirl!
Ella all decked out in support of Memorial Day; shirt says, "Mommy's Sparkler".

A special "Thanks!!" to all our military. Thank you for all that you do and the support and sacrifices you have made for our country. God Bless!!

Turtles in the Pool

The weather is getting warmer here in So Cal. We're enjoying our little patio out front. Ella has lots of fun playing in her pool while Jonah and I work on our tans. Not much else new is happening in our lives. We are enjoying being able to have a routine and just be a family without the concerns of not being together. Our life out here in So Cal remains another 12 months and we're thoroughly excited about our adventures after this. We're seriously considering permanent cold weather up in Michigan for our future!! :) We'll be heading that way sooner though this upcoming August for a nice week visit, so we'll be looking forward to visiting with family and friends during that time with another nice week stop in Tennessee along the way. I know that Ella is missing all of her grandparents and looking forward to staying with them!!

Quick Ella update... at this moment Ella is about to use some headphones to listen to Jonah's ipod. She talks constantly and with a little help from Mom and Dad's interpretations, she is very understandable. ;) Her favorite toys right now involve playing house; anything that has to do with babies is very interesting to her. We've been counting and singing lots of songs. Her brain is pretty much a sponge and it's crazy how quickly she picks up on everything. I've a strong feeling that potty training is in our midst. We'll see how that goes. ;) Other than that, she's the absolute joy of our lives and so much fun (even with the temper tantrums)!!!!

Real quick... I've started a bow business!! I've opened an ebay store online: http://stores.shop.ebay.com/Mommadorn2CuteBoutique

Pretty much if you know someone that is interested in a custom order of bows for their little one, just have them contact me.

Another random... Ella loves turtles and loves to point them out to everyone especially when they're on her outfit. :)

Oodles of Photos...

Hello!! This April month has been full of fun warm weather activities!! After Nana and Papa were in town visiting we had our friends Ashlee and Logan over for about a week. It was great for Ella because she had a continuous play date the entire week along with new explorations that she usually doesn't do every week. We had a lot of fun which I'll give more descriptions with the photos below.

Everything is going well here for the three of us. This previous week was a little rough with a stomach flu that continued to linger around the house up until now. Ella got sick on Tuesday with it then Jonah on Thursday and I thought I was out of the wing until Sunday right before church realizing it was my turn. Jonah and I agreed that the last time we can remember getting a stomach flu was while in elementary/middle school. I told him yesterday during my traumatic morning while curled up in the fetal position that it reminded me of birth pains. Luckily it seemed to be a 24 bug and we're all close to recovery. :)

These photos were taken Sunday the 19th; it was right after our visit to the Avocado Festival. Yes, lots of fresh yummy guacamole was available and the day was seriously up to 90-100 degrees. The little ones had a lot of fun playing with the sand box and swimming pool.

Ashlee and I took Logan and Ella to the flower fields. They are located in Carlsbad, CA and are only available less than 3 months out of the year for viewing. It was absolutely beautiful; here are a few sample pics of our day spent there.

Here are some cute photos of a trip taken down at the park near our house. We take Ella down there most nights after dinner. As you will see, she pretty much does everything without hesitation. She's very adventurous and self driven!! :)

We went to an aquarium close to San Diego. Ella loved it and enjoyed pointing at all the fishes!!

This was the night that Ashlee and Logan first arrived. We have a little table set up now where Ella enjoys eating her snacks at.
